Volunteer Opportunities

  • We are looking for volunteers 15+ years old to support various programs and services offered through the Family Support Department in Shoreline such as:
  • Childcare assistant
  • Tutor in After-School Program
  • At all 3 of our Shoreline offices, need help with our landscaping and yard work year around.
  • Administrative assistance is always useful for human resources in Shoreline and for other administrative functions at all of our locations.
  • All 6 of our locations can use help with general cleaning at any time.
  • Many of our departments would appreciate general program assistance (all 6 locations).

Examples of what your financial contribution will buy…

  • $50 – Provide for an hour of case management to a family in need.
  • $100-Supplies a month of healthy snacks for Out of School Time youth.
  • $150 – A family session for a substance abuse or mental health client.
  • $200-Provides learning materials for Play & Learn School Readiness Program.
  • $250– Pays for a child’s mental health evaluation.
  • $500 – Supplies a youth’s Urinalysis Testing while in substance use treatment.
  • $750 – Affords 3 months of childcare for a substance use client while in treatment.
  • $1000 -Allows for a month of home-based Infant Mental Health services.
  • $1,500-Will provide three months of mental health counseling for a child.
  • $2,000 – Pays for a series of parenting classes for two families.
