Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Peace Award
The Ballinger Action Teens (BAT) group, at Ballinger Homes Family Support Center, was honored with the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Peace Award for their, “outstanding contribution to the dream.” The award was presented by Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn and Seattle Center Director Robert Nellams.

Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery and Washington State Institute on Addictions Treatment awarded CHS the Exemplary Program Award for outstanding leadership, exemplary services in the field of Substance Abuse, service collaboration, and benefiting the citizens of Washington State.
Science to Service Award
King County presented their first ever Science to Service Award to CHS for our work toward the county-wide implementation of an evidence-based substance abuse assessment tool to be used with youth.

The King County Mental Health, Chemical Abuse and Dependency Services Division awarded CHS the Exemplary Service Award in Direct Service for providing outstanding services to individuals with mental health and/or chemical dependency needs.
