The Passages to Change Program is a specialized treatment program for
individuals ages 16 to 25 who have legal issues and do not quite fit in
either a youth program or an adult program because of their life
circumstances and level of emotional maturity. Passages to Change offers two
distinct and separate programs based on age: The Older Youth Program is
designed for youth who are 16 to 18 years old and the Passages to Change
Program is designed for 18 to 25 year olds. Participants must be willing to
commit to 18 months in this outpatient treatment program. This program has
an intensive wrap around case management component that incorporates the
vocational, housing and employment needs of the client. A primary goal is to
help the client re-integrate into the workforce or school.
In line with the Substance Abuse mission
to eliminate the use of mind altering chemicals and strengthen the quality
of life of the substance abuse client, the Passages to Change Program is a
strengths-based program committed to providing a gull continuum of treatment
and related services for chemically dependent individuals and their
families. Referrals from all courts are accepted. Call 206-631-8831 for a
confidential screening.
